Focal epilepsy (FE) is one of the most common forms of adult epilepsy and is usually
regarded as a multifactorial disorder. Febrile seizures (FS) often appear during childhood in
a subtype of FE patients, ie with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and hippocampal sclerosis
